The newly unveiled Regal basketball court in Vauxhall, London, is Nike‘s gift to the city’s ballers, open free of charge to all skill levels with the intent of growing the game in London and the UK. The court’s wooden floor features basketball-specific line markings and “The Regal” branding in gold, while gold plated hoops are attached to tinted glass backboards with integrated LED lights, linked to the scoreboard and shot clocks. The surrounding walls are adorned with bespoke flock-effect wallpaper and a motivational quote from Luol Deng, the Chicago Bulls small forward who is also a member of the Great Britain national basketball team. There’s also a display of ten unique basketball jerseys celebrating British and international heroes of the game.
